Family NIght - Mission to the Moon

On July 20, 1969 the Apollo 11 astronauts flew to and landed on the Moon. 45 years later, the Moon continues to inspire our explorations beyond Earth. Launch into space in the Bishop Planetarium with a special screening of Apollo 13, then investigate real moon rocks on loan from the Johnson Space Center! Design your own metal meteors then watch as they create craters in our "moon dust tub"!
