South Florida Museum
On the second Wednesday of each month from 7 to 9 pm, we transform the Bishop Planetarium into a forum for discussions at think + drink (science), a place where you can grab a beer or a glass of wine (or a soft drink) and learn about cutting-edge science in a relaxed, informal setting. Typically our “expert du jour” gives a short presentation on the topic of the month, and then opens the floor for questions and discussion.
January 9: “Creating Designed Marine Habitat…From the Deep Sea to your Doorsteps”
Join us as leaders of the Reef Ball Foundation discuss how their technologies are being used around the world (and locally) to help restore marine habitats for fish, coral, birds, and even humans. Learn how to think globally about what’s happening to our oceans and how to act locally to benefit the world and your community.
With Todd Barber, Chairman, Reef Ball Foundation/Larry Beggs, President, Reef Innovations.
