A SHORT HISTORY OF NEARLY EVERYTHING
Designed for the science-savvy and the science-curious alike, this course offers a sweeping
narrative of the story of our universe, our planet and life. Through engaging lectures and lots of
discussion, you’ll explore how we know what we know about the beginning of the universe, the
creation of time, space, matter, and energy, the formation of stars and planets, the history of
our habitable planet, the evolution of life, and the search for life “out there.”

An Earthbound Human's Guide to the Universe
Designed for the backyard stargazer and armchair Master of the Universe, each week combines a seasonal star talk with a discussion of astronomy’s big ideas. Discussions cover the Big Bang, Stars & Galaxies, Our Solar System and The Search for Life. This is an evening course at Bishop Planetarium.
